Sergeant S.M. Shamblin spotted the vehicle of Kevin Garcia, of Lexington, on Interstate 64 near the Nitro exit, according to a release late Saturday from the sheriff's office. Deputies had been warned to be on the lookout for Garcia, who was wanted in the death of a 16-year-old. Shamblin and another deputy pulled over Garcia at the Cross Lanes exit.

Garcia's alleged victim, Angel Juarez, was shot multiple times Thursday evening when he answered his front door. Lexington, Kentucky, police spokeswoman Brenna Angel said the shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute between Garcia and the victim's older brother. Investigators say Garcia was attempting to confront the brother when it happened.
